How to download X (Twitter) videos
Videos and GIFs live inside the post. Copy the post URL, paste it above, and we'll fetch the file—nothing is stored on our servers.

  1. Open the post

    In X on the web or in the app, go to the post that contains the video you want.

  2. Copy the link

    Use whichever option you have:

    • Option 1: Click on the tweet, and copy the URL from the address bar of the browser.

      X open in a desktop browser: copy the post URL from the address bar

    • Option 2: Click on the share icon () below the tweet, then choose Copy link.

      X share menu: choose Copy link after opening share under the post

  3. Paste & download

    Drop the URL into the box at the top of this page and click Download.

TweetSnap doesn't host media. Files are loaded from X's CDN. Only save content you're allowed to download.
